Wingman Gifts, a boutique mens-goods store in downtown Delafield, is a longtime dream realized by owner Steve Nelson. Specializing in well-made accessories from watches to leather bound journals, the ACD team created a setting that pays homage to craftsmanship and tradition. The tweed upholstered cash wrap, inspired by vintage Fender amplifiers, houses a collection of watches and pocket knives. The apothocary wall, filled with an accoutrement of shaving supplies, including handmade brushes and elegant metal razors, is outfitted with leather handles and a pinstripe wool wallcovering. Propellors and aluminum wrapped shelves give a nod to the store’s aviation theme. Though small in scale, the store is filled with facinating finds and heirloom quality goods, giving cause to linger.
