After a top-to-bottom renovation of the entire home, this gorgeous lakefront property is now a sight to behold. Demolition of the existing main level flooring revealed concrete subfloors running under the entire space, making mechanical configuration a challenge. Though positioned on the water’s edge, the home initially offered little in the way of lakeside views. Opening a large kitchen wall and adding sliding glass doors dramatically improved the owners’ experience of the site. With the addition of custom cabinetry and countertops, architectural millwork, paint, new flooring, and a full relocation and reconstruction of a 19’ fireplace with custom stone surround, this modern take on lakeshore living is now every bit as stunning as the view.
